What is Clairv?
Clairv is a Java framework based on Apache Lucene and other open-source utilities that adds search capability to your applications. Distributed indices on different machines are supported. A demonstrating web front end is also provided. Clairv is licensed under Apache License 2.0.

Why this name?
The name "Clairv" comes from the word "clairvoyant", which implies the search capability.
